This 60 minute DVD covers Team ARea 51 through the 800+km XPD race. It includes interviews with other teams encountered throughout the race and shows the highs and lows that these teams face in an event of this length. It is a great eye opener for anyone considering embarking on an expedition length event and a great momento for anyone who raced in XPD Whitsundays.

I have had an opportunity to watch the unfinished version and it is fantastic... Other people that are not even associated with the sport have found it gives a very good insight into what can happen during a race. Well worth the money I think. It recalls some very good ( and bad ) memories of the race.
I also have seen the unfinished version and would recommend it! ... it's also a good insight to the preparation and the actual race emotions. Justin - I still can't believe you carried the camera with you the whole race!
I bought this DVD and watched it last night. I didnt get to see and hear all of it as my family were constantly asking me questions about the race and about the guys that were in the ARea51 team. Our team seems to have experienced many of the highs and lows at similar times that the ARea51 team encounters. The DVD covers all, or most, team intros, volunteers, organisers, race briefs, race preparation and most of the legs of the actual race. The scenery looks so much better than I remember as well. Anyway I wanted to give this DVD a plug for anyone who did XPD or anyone getting prepared for their first XPD.
